John 10:10

Our prayer for you -Ephesians 1:17–18

Your spiritual journey consists of four steps:

  1. Know God Revelation 3:20Matthew 7:21-23
  2. Connection. Community.Hebrews 10:24-25
  3. Discover PurposeRomans 12:6a, 1 Corinthians 12:27
  4. Serve OthersJohn 15:8-11, 1 Peter 4:10

Know God

Who is God?

What is sin? - Romans 3:23Romans 6:23Romans 5:8

How to have a relationship with GodGenesis 2:8-9, Genesis 2:16-17

When we want to fix this broken relationship there are choices.

The difference between the choices:

  1. I can do more or I can receive what has already been done. - Ephesians 2:8-9, John 5:39-40
  2. I can try to earn God’s approval or I can receive God’s love for me. - Romans 5:8
  3. I can obey out of delight or I can obey out of love. - John 14:15

The difference between Christianity and all other faiths comes down to two words: DO and DONE. - 1 Timothy 2:5

How to become a Christian!

  1. Realize that God has not been first place in your life and ask Him to forgive you of your sins. - 1 John 1:9
  2. Believe that Jesus died to pay for your sins and that He rose from the dead and is alive today. - Romans 10:9-10, Acts 4:12, 1Thessalonians 4:14
  3. Accept God’s free gift of salvation. Don’t try to earn it. - Ephesians 2:8-9
  4. Receive Jesus Christ to come into your life and be the Lord of your life. - John 1:12-13

You can take these steps by praying a simple prayer of commitment to God.

Dear Jesus, thank you for creating me and loving me even when I’ve ignored you and gone my own way. I realize I need you in my life. I confess that I am a sinner, living life my way instead of yours, with a heart far from you. I ask you to forgive me and to heal my heart. Thank you for dying on the cross for me. I confess you as my Lord and receive you as my Savior. Please help me to live for you as you died for me. I accept your free gift of salvation and pledge to live for you.

Romans 10:13
