Matthew 6:6

What does your prayer life look like? Is it God-pleasing?

Is it possible there are things going on in your life that would be different if your prayer time had been different? God has the ability to change your life now.

Last week we read in James, “You have not because you ask not.”

The verse we read today was “when you pray.”

Three things to put in place to hear God’s voice:

  • The Word
  • Worship
  • Prayer

All three have corporate expressions and have private requirements.

Make an appointment with God.

Prayer is an invitation to fellowship with God.

1 Thessalonians 5:17

Private prayer also requires private time.

How to start:

  • Make an appointment with God.
  • Determine an amount of time to pray.
  • Read the Word. Look for what stands out to you and pray the Word.
  • Make a prayer list. These are items of concern.
  • Listen to God. Ask Him how you did today or yesterday. Ask Him to use you

Come to corporate prayer times.
