Jesus left His home with the Father and made His home here on earth so that we could have a home with Him in heaven forever.

1. Jesus left His home with the Father…

In the beginning the Word already existed. The Word was with God, and the Word was God. He existed in the beginning with God. [John 1:1-2 NLT]

2. And made His home here on earth…

So the Word became human and made his home among us. He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness. And we have seen his glory, the glory of the Father’s one and only Son. [John 1:14 NLT]

3. So that we could have a home with Him in heaven forever.

Jesus responded, “Salvation has come to this home today, for this man has shown himself to be a true son of Abraham. For the Son of Man came to seek and save those who are lost.” [Luke 19:9-10 NLT]

“Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me. There is more than enough room in my Father’s home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am. [John 14:1-3 NLT]
