ESTHER

Esther 4:12-17

In the story of Esther, there is no mention of God’s name. However, throughout the book, you see the hand of God woven through each chapter.

Whether we acknowledge or ignore God, He is present in our lives every day.

Esther 1:19

Esther 2:15

Esther 4:10-17

God designed all of us with a purpose.

God has made us who we are and that is enough!

We must make the decision to step up to our call, to take the risk He nudges us to take.

There are no random moments, there are no coincidences, only opportunities designed by God.

Esther 4:13

God doesn’t depend on us to fulfill His work; He allows us the opportunity.

Though Esther rose to a prominent position, she maintained a teachable spirit.

  1. She sought the counsel of the king’s servant.

  2. She listened to Mordecai’s instruction.

  3. She sought God about the decision she was about to make.

She knew the king’s heart was in God’s hands.

Proverbs 21:1

We must have a teachable spirit no matter how young or old we are.

Look for life lessons every day.

Esther waited on God and obeyed God.

She prepared her heart by praying and fasting.

Psalm 130:5

Esther had sought God. He gave her a plan. She patiently followed His leading.

Esther 5:7-8

Even when it seemed like a good time to tell the king, she waited.

Isaiah 40:31

Esther found strength in her time with God.
