Say Goodbye to:

 

1. Fear of the future

So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries.(Matthew 6:34, NLT)

 

2. The illusion of control

“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.”(Jeremiah 29:11, NLT)

 

3. The pain of regret

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness
(1 John 1:9, NIV)

 

4. Shame from the past

This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!

2. Investing in your spiritual gifts

3. Sharing your faith with others.

Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect…(1 Peter 3:15, NIV)

 

4. Confronting patterns of sin

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us.(Hebrews 12:1, NLT)

 

5. Building community with others

24 Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. 25 And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.(Hebrew 10:24-25, NLT)
