The two foundation points of righteous faith:
• A belief that God exists
• A belief that God rewards those who seek Him
You are called to be a person of faith in the:
• Truth God reveals
• Promises God gives
• Boundaries God establishes
Faith is a key difference in the life of the God-follower and the person who is secular.
Faith says there is a God—a higher power—who controls outcomes and rewards those who do it His way.

True faith is about God’s plan and God’s will.

Two-thirds of Americans believe that God accepts the worship of all religions. 48% of evangelicals believe the same thing.

When the crowd rejects and jeers, the man of faith stands.
Close to 80% of Americans claim to be Christian; however only 9% of those have a Christian worldview. Only 9% believe:
• There is absolute moral truth
• This truth is contained in the Bible
• The Bible is accurate in its teaching
• Jesus lived a sinless life
• Satan is real and not symbolic
• All believers are responsible to share their faith with others
• The only means of salvation is through God’s grace
• God is the all-knowing and all-powerful creator
The person of faith is not formed by culture; the person of faith is formed by the Bible.
Romans 10:17
The study of born-again Christians:
• The typical Christian will die without leading a single person to Christ.
• At any given moment the majority of Christians do not have a specific person in mind for whom they are praying in the hope that they will be saved.
• Most churched Christians believe that since they are not gifted in evangelism, witnessing and inviting are not a significant responsibility of theirs.

You are born again as a person of faith. You are called to live as a person of faith.
