1 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless his holy name! 2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits, 3 who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases, 4 who redeems your life from the pit, who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy, 5 who satisfies you with good so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's. (Psalm 103:1-5, ESV)

13 You were dead because of your sins and because your sinful nature was not yet cut away. Then God made you alive with Christ, for he forgave all our sins. 14 He canceled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross. (Colossians 2:13-14, NLT)

Key Point: Bless the Lord Who Heals our Diseases

Bless the Lord, O my soul… who heals all your diseases... (Psalm 103:2-3, ESV)

31 Jesus answered them, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. 32 I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”(Luke 5:31-32, NIV)

“He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.”(1 Peter 2:24, NIV)

Key Point: Bless the Lord Who Redeems our Life from the Pit

Bless the Lord, O my soul… 4 who redeems your life from the pit... (Psalm 103:2,4, ESV)

13 For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, 14 in whom we have redemption…(Colossians 1:13-14a, NIV)

Key Point: Bless the Lord Who Crowns Us with Steadfast Love and Mercy

Bless the Lord, O my soul…who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy... (Psalm 103:2,4, ESV)

4 But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, 5 made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. (Ephesians 2:4-5, NIV)

Key Point: Bless the Lord Who Satisfies Us with Good

Bless the Lord, O my soul…5 who satisfies you with good… (Psalm 103:2,5, ESV)

For He satisfies the longing soul and fills the hungry soul with goodness.(Psalm 107:9, NLT)

Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.(John 6:35, NIV)

Key Point: Bless the Lord Who Renews Our Youth Like the Eagle’s

Bless the Lord, O my soul…so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's. (Psalm 103:2,5, ESV)

But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint. (Isaiah 40:31, NIV)

16 That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day. 17 For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! 18 So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever. (2 Corinthians 4:16-18, NLT)
