What was this meat that they knew not of?John 4:34
To do the Father’s will and accomplish His work.
We have a tendency to see work as draining.
Jesus was with someone that no one else in the group would have even spoken to.
Jesus spells out the mission of the Church: Go into all the world and make disciples.
To accomplish our mission, our values have to be aligned.
- We believe the Bible is God's revelation to mankind and is our standard for faith and conduct.
- We believe all people are the divine creation of God and that we should love God and love people.
- We believe that every person is created with gifts that bless others and brings purpose to them.
John 10:10, “I have come that you may have life to the full.”
The core value of today: We believe that we are created to serve.
This is where being separated from God has messed things up. Our flesh cries out to be served and we are left demanding more.
Real life is found in serving. That is where the meat is.
Jesus said, "Let your good works shine before men that they may praise your Father in heaven."
