Lesson Fourteen - Highlights

Proverbs 24:11-12
We are accountable for what we know.

If we see someone in need, God showed us that.

If we see someone far from God, God showed us that.

We are blessed to be a blessing

God watches over us and uses us to help others.

He will repay us according to our work.

  • This is a warning if we ignore needs.

  • This is a promise if we respond to needs.

Proverbs 16:32
Some are highly tempted to anger.

Proverbs 19:11
Sometimes you just have to let things go.

Proverbs 16:18
Pride is thinking:

  • I did this

  • I am better than others.

Proverbs 16:5

Proverbs 27:10
Many people are upside down and twisted on the idea of a friend. A true friend is not simply someone you like and have known for a long time. A scoffer, a fool, or an evil person cannot be your friend.

Do friendships mean anything to you?

Proverbs 24:10
Adversity comes. Troubles comes.

  • Be faithful to God.

  • Be faithful to church.

  • Be faithful to family.

Don’t wallow in the problem; celebrate in the promises.

Proverbs 14:12
Your feelings are not a good compass.

Your experience is not a good compass.

Trials come from time to time; when they are all the time, there is a reason.

Proverbs 20:10
Treat people fairly. Use the same standards all the time.

Proverbs 20:22
God will do what is right.
