John 3:1-16  

Have you truly been born again?

This passage in John 3 is one of the most important passages in all the Bible. 

This passage deals with eternal life. 

Jesus tells Nicodemus, “You must be born again.”

Nicodemus says, “We know” you are from God. 

Jesus says unless one is born again he cannot see the Kingdom of God.

All eternity for each man hangs on these words that Jesus says: You must be born again. 

He was talking about the fact that we are born of the seed of Adam and our nature is of that seed.

He has come so we can be born of the seed of Jesus and be reborn by the power of the Spirit.

We can’t get past this point and expect to make heaven our home.

We can’t get past this point and expect to be able to live the right way here.

We need a new source of information and we need a new connection with God. 

What Jesus says is that if you want to be in His Kingdom you have to experience an act of God. 

How does this happen? 

John 3:16

The message of John throughout his book is believe. 

This belief is full acknowledgement and full acceptance of who Jesus is and what it means to your life. 

It is a full belief that He is our Savior and our Lord.

Romans 10:8-13 
Eternity hangs on this issue. 

“With the heart one believes and is justified.”

Justified, just as if you had not broken the law of God.

Born again is a transformation issue. You are changed. 

Have you been born again?

“Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
