Sermon Outline

Kingdom Culture Adores God
David Siler, Student Pastor

33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
Matthew 6:33-34 NIV

Key Point #1: Kingdom Culture prioritizes Kingdom values

2 Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. 3 For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.Colossians 3:2-3, NIV

15 Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. 16 Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts.17 And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. Colossians 3:15-17, NIV

Key Point #2: Kingdom Culture worships regularly with others

Donald Whitney says "to worship God means to ascribe the proper worth to God to magnify His worthiness of praise or better, to approach and address God as he is worthy.

Key Point #3: Kingdom Culture lives in a worshipful way

12 For you were buried with Christ when you were baptized. And with him you were raised to new life because you trusted the mighty power of God, who raised Christ from the dead.Colossians 2:12, NLT

Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. 2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.Romans 12:1-2, NIV
