35 One of the Pharisees, an expert in the law, tested him with this question: 36 “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” 37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’(Matthew 22:35-39)

Key Point: Love is Not Self Seeking

Love is not self seeking or easily angered.(1 Corinthians 13:5)

You desire but do not have, so you kill. You covet but you cannot get what you want, so you quarrel and fight. (James 4:2)

Key Point: Love Rejoices in Truth 

Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 
(1 Corinthians 13:6)

Key Point: Love Protects

It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. (1 Corinthians 13:7)
