Proverbs 1:10 
What influences your life? 

What does bad influence do?
Proverbs 1:10-19 

Bad influence makes grandiose promises that leave us ensnared and destroyed.

Bad influence is motivated by the enemy appealing to personal greed.


Proverbs 7:6-27
The influencer appeals to the simple: the one who lacks understanding.
 
Faith age is not measured in years but in biblical knowledge.

The influencer makes great promises and lies about the consequences. 

The husband in this illustration represents our relationship with God.
The seducer can represent the enemy. 

Again, the lie is the same. Surely you will not die.
Pleasure, in this case, is promised.
Many and mighty are those she has deceived. 


Proverbs 1:20-23   
Wisdom is everywhere, but we miss it when we are simple. The simple just see the moment.

Scoffers are doubters and find joy in making light of all warning. The fool hates knowledge.


Proverbs 1:24-27   
When the day of reckoning comes, prayers are ignored.


Proverbs 7:1-5 
This is a call to recognize what is trying to influence your life.

Let the Word of God be your treasure, your love, your sister, your close friend. 
Learn the Word of God; study it; plant it in your life.

The Word will keep you from the influences of life that will destroy you.
