Psalm 59:16-17  

What’s your relationship with God?

Relationships are built on shared experiences. 

Natural troubles of life on this earth give us a chance to experience life with God.

The question is, “Do we?”

Do we really invite God into those events in life or do we go it on our own?

Our decision on where to turn determines our relationship with God.

This is why some are acquainted with Him and others have grown to love Him. 

Psalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.    

Is that who God is to you?

We all have troubling times.

The formula to finding refuge can be found in 

Philippians 4:4-7.

  1. Rejoice - At all times rejoice in your hope in the Lord.

  2. Reasonableness - Remember God is with you.

  3. Worry - Don’t do it.  

  4. Prayer - Tell it all to God.

  5. Thanksgiving - Start with gratefulness.

  6. Peace - Wait for God to move on your heart and mind.

 Take advantage of the trouble to experience God’s power.
