Genesis 1:1
The concept of God
The idea that there is transcendent being who created the universe gives me hope of a purpose to life.
If there is no God...
If there is a God, then there is a possibility that…
With God there is hope.
Just because we want there to be a God doesn’t mean there is a God.
Romans 1:18-20
The Bible says that men suppress the reality of God because they don’t want to live His way.
The Bible says His eternal power and divine nature are evident to all, all around us.
Psalm 19:1-3
Why the God of the Bible?
The God of the Bible starts out with a simple claim: God created humans with a freewill and people used that will to sin.
Sin: people do what seems right in their own minds.
The concept of sin actually gives me some hope; sin tells me why the world is a mess.
Jeremiah 17: 9
The revelation of a biblical Father in Heaven says there is hope that life can get better.
Romans 5:8
I love the concept of a loving God.
Why I believe.
The God of the Bible explains life.
The God of the Bible has shown me His wisdom through His Word.
The God of the Bible shows me healing communion through His Son Jesus.
The God of the Bible becomes personal through His presence in our lives.
