Spiritual Warfare

Ephesians 6:10-20 

Each piece of the armor of God is made to protect the person being attacked. 

You are in a spiritual battle.  

What happens if I attack someone in full armor?
What happens if I attack someone without full armor? 

You ignore the battle and neglect the armor at your own risk.

The Belt of Truth 
What is our belt of truth? The Word of God.


Breastplate of Righteousness
Living and doing what the Word of God teaches protects us from destruction.


Shoes
The gospel is good news.  


The Shield of Faith 
Faith is built by the Word and we find strength in the community of believers. 

Faith protects us from compromise.


The Helmet of Salvation


The Sword of the Spirit
The Word of God - An offensive weapon


We counter every thrust of the enemy with the Word. 

We are called to engage in the battle.

Eph. 6:10-11 
We are called to be strong in the strength of His might. 

Eph. 6:18-19 
It is in prayer, that we engage in the battle. 

It is in prayer that we stand up in the power of His might. 

  • Praying all the time

  • Praying in the Spirit

  • Praying all types of prayers 


Keep alert and persevere. 

Make an appointment with God.

Build a prayer list.

  • Self

  • Family

  • Church

  • Country


Three reasons you are not seeing the promises of God:

  • You don’t have the armor on

  • You have not engaged in the battle

  • Timing
