Final Words

1. Our motives matter, v. 13-14
"I believe in Christianity as I believe that the sun has risen not only because I see it but because by it I see everything else.” -C.S. Lewis

2. Judgement takes many forms, v. 15
Here is an example of progressive judgment…
a) sexual impurity, v. 24- “therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity”
b) unnatural affections, v. 26- “God gave them up to dishonorable passions”
c) a debased mind, v. 28- "God gave them up to a debased mind" 3. You need positive spiritual friendships, v. 16

4. Remember these realities, v. 4:1-6
a) the day of the Lord
b) the Word of God
c) the mercy of God

Mental worship…
What motivates you to live as a Christian? Do you spend more time talking God into forgetting or rejoicing that He remembers? Who do you spend time with that reminds you of your faith and reinforces your faith? If God left you a voicemail today, what would it say?
