Psalm 29:11

Peace is a product of the knowledge and presence of Jesus in our lives.

The knowledge of God and presence of God must be rooted in the two areas where turmoil can take root:

  • Knowledge for the mind.
  • Presence for the heart.

Psalm 29:11

Let Peace Rule Your Mind.

  • When we worry, we question God’s intent for our lives.
  • When we worry, we question God’s power.
  • To have peace, your mind has to be filled with the knowledge of the power and intent of God.
  • To have peace, the knowledge of God’s power and intent are vital. The mind is a battlefield.  How do I protect it? Philippians 4:8-9
  • Peace of mind requires me to think right thoughts.
  • When turmoil controls your mind, think about God and His wonder, His power, and the glory of the cross.
  • The mind is just one

Let Peace Rule Your Heart.

  • There is no deep peace without the presence of Jesus.Philippians 4:4-7
  • This is one of the great practical teachings in the Bible on how the kingdom of God

If I want Jesus in my life:

  • Rejoice in the Lord always.
  • What am I rejoicing in? Jesus.
  • When do I rejoice? Always.
  • This is a heart of worship. This is a heart that is open to Jesus.

The answer to peace in your heart is Jesus in you.Philippians 4:6

  • Don’t be anxious.
  • Pray and petition. This is what we do with our worries. We take them to God.
  • Do so with thanksgiving.

This is the promise:Philippians 4:7

The peace of God will guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Real peace is found in Jesus.
