What is the Bible good for?
1.The Bible equips us for every good work.
2.The Bible gives us assurance in time of need.

3.The Bible gives us understanding of right and wrong.

4.The Bible gives us direction in life.

5.The Bible gives us security.

6.The Bible gives us the voice of the Spirit.

Hebrews 4:12
There are three ways to bring the Word into your life:
1.You need to read it.
2.You need to hear it.
3.You need to talk about it.

There are things on this earth that can harm you.
Not only are there things that can hurt you, a lack of things can hurt you.

Hosea 4:6
A lack of attention to the Word can lead us to destruction.

There are two plans needed.
1.How will you grow in the knowledge of God’s Word?
2.How will you get the Word into the hearts of your children?

This is profitable to know and dangerous to ignore.

If this is new to you:
1.Come to church with an open heart. Pray as you come in the door.
2.Join a C2 group.
3.Get your children to places that will teach the Word.
4.Begin to read your Bible. Pray when you open the Word.

A reading plan for starters between now and November 1.
1.Read one chapter of Proverbs a day.
2.Read James five times.
3.Read 1 John five times.
4.Read Luke.
5.Read Ephesians five times.
6.Read Acts.
7.Read Philippians five times.
8.Read Genesis.
9.Read 1 & 2 Peter five times.
