Hindrance to Victory

Ephesians 6:10-19 

To understand our times, we need to understand that victory has to be won in the unseen world before it is won in the seen world.

 

The Belt of Truth

Truth is about sincerity of life.

Hypocrisy kills.

The life that lives to please God has “moments of blazing clarity.” 

If you want to win in the spiritual battlefield, God-pleasing sincerity is mandatory.

God moves on sincere hearts. He is patient with the sincerely wrong and ignorant.

Acts 9:1-6 

You don’t have to be perfect, but you do have to be sincere.

The sincere person:

  • loves the truth.
  • is clear of guilt and open to change.
  • is dedicated in action.

A sincere heart and mind are fully focused on knowing God’s counsel.

Without the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness cannot be attached to our lives.

James 4:1-3

Our passions must be renewed with one desire to please God. 

Selfishness is eradicated.

We cannot win the unseen world when our passions are corrupt.

Prayer is how we win in the unseen world.

Our prayers are powerless if we are intentionally in disobedience.
