What is your impression of God?

Genesis 1:1-5 – These verses gives us a first impression of God.

God, by His power, made everything.

  • God is the great Almighty Creator.
  • In the face of all creation, pride and arrogance are revealed as foolish and petty.
  • How different from us is He?

God is infinite.

  • Psalm 90:2 – Moses gives us insight to God.

God is omniscient. 

  • David speaks to the fact that God is all-knowing.
  • Psalm 139:1-6
  • God knows everything.
  • To reject God’s wisdom and live outside His instruction is not only rebellion but the height of self-destruction.

Three impressions God reveals throughout the Bible:

  1. God reveals his awesome ability. Remember, the God you serve is an awesome God.
  2. God reveals that He loves His love is an impression that gives us peace. God Almighty knows you by name and loves you.
  3. God reveals that He is our judge.

Make sure your impression of God is fully developed.
