The Authority of The Believer

Do you believe the promises of God?
Does your prayer life look like you believe?

Prayer is the game changer.

The enemy wants you to feel helpless. 

The flesh wants us to be casual. 

Prayer that brings intimacy with God, and faith in God’s promises, call for dedicated time doing nothing but seeking God. 

Think about your situation. How do you feel about it? 

We walk under the authority of Jesus. 

Nothing can hold what God determines to set free.

Acts 12: 15 
Sometimes in our minds eye we cannot imagine that God is going to do what we ask. There is power in obedience.

  • They loved Peter so much they prayed.

  • They knew the Word so well that they knew they could pray. 
  • They just didn’t see how it was going to happen. 


Are you there?

Intercession is a powerful event-changing tool in the lives of the obedient. 

The prayer of the desperate is demonstrated in this passage. 

  • Fervent Prayer
  • Unceasing Prayer
  • Community Prayer  


Intercession is 

  • praying for someone the way they would if they knew what you knew. 

  • standing with someone who is in need of God’s intervention.

This declaration in Ezekiel leads to one of the saddest statements in the Bible. 

Ezekiel 22:30 

There was no one to stand in the gap, therefore judgement.
