Speak Lord For Your Servant is Listening

Habla, Señor, que tu siervo te escucha

1 Long ago, at many times and in many ways, God spoke to our fathers by the prophets, 2 but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world. 3 He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high (Hebrews 1:1-3, ESV)

1 En tiempos antiguos Dios habló a nuestros antepasados muchas veces y de muchas maneras por medio de los profetas. 2 Ahora, en estos tiempos últimos, nos ha hablado por su Hijo, mediante el cual creó los mundos y al cual ha hecho heredero de todas las cosas. 3 Él es el resplandor glorioso de Dios, la imagen misma de lo que Dios es y el que sostiene todas las cosas con su palabra poderosa. The sheep hear his voice, and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.  When he has brought out all his own , he goes before them, and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice. (John 10:3b-4, ESV)

Jesus, who is almighty God is speaking to us. Are we listening?

Jesús, que es Dios todopoderoso, nos habla. ¿Estamos escuchando?

11 And he said, “Go out and stand on the mount before the Lord.” And behold, the Lord passed by, and a great and strong wind tore the mountains and broke in pieces the rocks before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind. And after the wind an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake. 12 And after the earthquake a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire. And after the fire the sound of a low whisper. 13 And when Elijah heard it, he wrapped his face in his cloak and went out and stood at the entrance of the cave. And behold, there came a voice to him and said, “What are you doing here, Elijah?” (1 Kings 19:11-13, ESV)

11 Entonces Él dijo: Sal y ponte en el monte delante del Señor. Y he aquí que el Señor pasaba. Y un grande y poderoso viento destrozaba los montes y quebraba las peñas delante del Señor; pero el Señor no estaba en el viento. God sometimes speaks to us through our circumstances.

A veces Dios nos habla a través de nuestras circunstancias.

All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness. (2 Timothy 3:16, ESV)
