Peace & Contentment

Psalm 29:11

Peace is not a temporary feeling you get when something good happens.

Peace and contentment are not based on the circumstances you are going through.

All of these things are Band-Aids on a gaping wound in comparison to a true God-given peace.

Having peace and contentment is having an ease and calmness in your mind and heart, no matter what the external factors around us say.

Acts 12:6-8

Christ can’t be just head knowledge. Many people know a lot about the Bible but have no peace and contentment.

How do we have peace and contentment?

We need to be in tune with the voice of God.

1 Timothy 6:6-8

Even the people closest to us will not bring us peace and contentment, but God will never let us down.

We have all gone through the storms of life.

Mark 4:35-41

The key is communication.
