Week Two - Son of the Most High

Luke 1:28-33

To make this a special Christmas take some time to meditate on the glory of God as He has revealed it to us through the Christmas story.

God’s glory is revealed in His creation, wisdom, and power.

The Most High is a common title for God throughout the Old Testament and New Testament.

At times, as we live in this present age, our world can seem small. Not just the church world but any realm of existence we live in can seem tiny.

As followers of Christ we have recognized that this earth is temporary, but eternity is before us.

We are servants of the Most High on this earth.

When you submit to His will and the world rejects you, you have answered the call of the Most High.

When you give to help the world, you choose to live in the economy of the Most High.

When you serve others, you choose to follow the leadership of the Most High.

When you treat things and people with Him in mind, you live in the culture of the Most High.

When you lift your heart in prayer, you get access to the Most High.

Today, we are the servants of this God.

Sometimes I am asked about pain. Why does God allow suffering?

One answer: suffering is a revelation of our condition.

The glory of Christmas is that the Most High moved on our behalf and we get to be part of His kingdom.
