EVIDENCE OF THE RESURRECTION

Luke 19:29-38

Historical moments are ones that have changed our lives.

Palm Sunday, or the Triumphal Entry, was a day in history.

Jesus is the central figure in the history of the world.

Jesus’ goal was to establish His story for the centuries to come.

Peter knew they needed to protect the authority of the witness to the world.

Acts 1:21-22

All of these books claim that Jesus was the Promised Redeemer.

Jesus’ life and ministry scream His glory into the historical record of the world.

By the day of the Triumphal Entry, the eyes of the people and the eyes of many of the leaders were on Jesus.

The cries of praise were heard throughout the city.

Matthew 21:9

Hosanna: an expression of praise. They had seen what He could do.

Son of David: a popular title for the expected Messiah

In the name of the Lord: in the name of God or as God.

Hosanna in the Highest: may He be praised in the Heavens.

It didn’t take long for resistance to arise.

Luke 19:39-40

Jesus said this day is an ordained day in history.

The Triumphal Entry was a day that would be etched in the history of mankind.

The Messiah had come.

History records the day of Jesus’ great reveal as the Triumphal Entry

Only you know your personal day of revelation

That personal day of triumph will either lead to eternal victory or eternal judgement.

John 3:17-18
