1 Corinthians 15:51-53

When will the rapture happen?

  • No one knows the day or the hour.

What happens on the earth after the rapture?

  • There is growing apostasy.
  • There is a growing hatred for the Jews.
  • There will be a war.
  • This war will have a final battle and a regional leader will rise to the top.
  • The Antichrist will sign a peace treaty with Israel.
  • The signing of that treaty will mark the beginning of the Tribulation, which is a time of God’s judgment on the earth.
  • Many people will turn to Christ.
  • The Antichrist will turn in wrath on the Jewish people and Christians.
  • Some nations will resist the Antichrist.
  • The Antichrist will turn against Israel and will come with a great army.
  • This army will be defeated by Jesus at Armageddon.

What is happening in the present Heaven?

  • 1 Corinthians 15:50-56
  • Christians raptured from the earth have been changed.
  • The Judgment Seat of Christ is happening.


The Judgment Seat of Christ is called the judgment of works.

All believers will stand before the Judgment Seat of Christ and give account for their lives.

Our works do not affect our salvation, but they do affect our rewards.

Rewards are about our work for God, or our responsibilities while on the earth.
